What is the microdermabrasion procedure like?
After cleaning and prepping your skin, the esthetician systematically passes the handpiece over the treated areas. It feels like a tiny vacuum. Do I need recovery time?
Like all of our non-invasive procedures at Rēnu, microdermabrasion has little or no downtime. Afterwards you might notice a slight flushing, like after exercising that is typical for a few hours. Tingling is common for a day or two.

Are there side effects?
Swelling is uncommon. It is critical to use Bio-Active Cosmeceuticals to get the most value out of your microdermabrasion treatment. An anti-oxidant enriched sunscreen is used at the conclusion of your treatment and is essential to use afterwards since the exfoliated skin has temporarily lost some of it’s natural protection to the environment. It is recommended to avoid sun exposure and tanning for a few days.

When will I start to see results?
